I am an assistant professor at NYU Shanghai working on computer music, especially Human-computer music performance. I create artificial performers which could interact with human musicians expressively. I am looking for Ph.D. students, postdocs, and interns who
- passionate about improving our daily music experience using AI techniques
- have a background of music, better be able to performance an instrument at least at an amateur level.
- good at CS or EE, has the potential to build software or hardware for computer music research.
